The Court of First Instance in Tetouan on Monday convicted five grand taxi drivers, sentencing each to six months in prison and a fine of 10,000 dirhams. The drivers were prosecuted for facilitating irregular migration after transporting would-be migrants during the recent mass crossings into Ceuta.
